Ballistic Potatoes is preparing secure storage options for individual firearms and larger collections, with clear intake records, defined storage terms, and scheduled pickup arrangements. Short-term storage is intended for temporary situations when you expect to retrieve your firearms within a limited period. It can be useful during travel, deployment, a move, home renovations, or another situation where your normal storage is temporarily unavailable. Storage is billed monthly according to firearm size, with quarterly discounts available when the full quarter is selected.
Long-term storage is designed for extended travel, deployment, estate coordination, inherited collections, limited space, or firearms that are not used regularly but still need responsible care. Intake, continued storage, authorized communication, and release arrangements will be documented before storage begins. Any applicable transfer, identification, insurance, or release requirements will be confirmed before launch and at intake.
For firearms stored long term, an optional maintenance plan can have each firearm inspected, cleaned as needed, and lubricated once every six months. This helps address long periods of inactivity and gives us a scheduled opportunity to identify visible condition concerns. Maintenance pricing depends on firearm type, condition, and the amount of disassembly required.
$25 per month, or $45 billed quarterly—an effective rate of $15 per month.
$25 per month, or $60 billed quarterly—an effective rate of $20 per month.
$35 per month, or $90 billed quarterly—an effective rate of $30 per month.
$50 per month, or $120 billed quarterly—an effective rate of $40 per month.
$120 per month for storage capacity covering up to 20 qualifying firearms. Oversized firearms and unusual storage requirements may need an individual quote.
Optional inspection, cleaning as needed, and lubrication once every six months for extended storage.
